Showcase 2014 was a Success!

The 7th Annual TU Showcase was held last Wednesday, April 16th and it was another resounding success! A great crowd gathered to learn more about how Towson University is supporting Maryland’s businesses, government agencies, and non-profits. Attendees had the opportunity to network with 19 exhibitors who presented on a wide variety of topics including: Entrepreneurship at TU Microfinance in Developing Countries Cybersecurity Programs Continuing Education And more! Will Anderson, Baltimore County’s new Director of Economic & Workforce Development, also spoke about how TU and Baltimore County are working together to meet the needs of the region’s economy. We’re gearing up for the Division’s 7th annual Showcase event on April 16th. Check out what on-campus events our team is preparing for this March and April: March 6th: Signature Forum with Sharon Lynn Kagan Titled Early Childhood Education: The Promise and the Prognosis Dr. Sharon Lynn Kagan will speak on the topic of early childhood education and the need for quality, action and investment. March 18th: TUgis Annual Conference In its 27th year, TUgis 2014 will feature even more hands-on training workshops, dynamic lightening talks and poster sessions, increased networking opportunities, and exciting presentations and speakers.
